Ms. Kim gained professional training in the National Tax Service's International Taxation Specialist Course and has since expanded her practice at Korean law firms and law offices, where she gained expertise in tax and customs litigation and advisory services. Prior to joining Dentons Lee, Ms. Kim worked at the NTS Jungbu Regional Office for about five years, where she conducted numerous tax litigation and pre-trial proceedings and done a phenomenal job in providing internal legal reviews to various agencies and offering legal advice on potential illegalities prior to tax inspections.

In particular, Ms. Kim’s outstanding expertise in cases involving the revocation of imposition of corporate taxes and tariffs, and inheritance and gift tax cases where she represented foreign banks and domestic companies has demonstrated her deep knowledge in tax and customs litigation.

In addition to her excellence in tax and customs litigation, Hee-Seon Kim’s extensive expertise in administrative appeals and litigation, and general civil disputes enables her to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
