Dentons Lee is bringing Heejun Choi, former presiding judge of the Seoul Southern District Court, as its Chief Managing Attorney as part of its effort to further strengthen the Firm’s litigation capabilities.

Heejun Choi (28th class of the Judicial Research and Training Institute) is a litigation expert who handled numerous civil, criminal and public law cases by serving as a judge for 20 years at various levels of courts, including the Supreme Court, Seoul High Court, and Seoul Central District Court.

After retiring from the Seoul Southern District Court as a presiding judge in 2022, Mr. Choi worked as an attorney at Class Hankyul LLC, excelling in a number of litigation cases with great complexity and diversity.

With the joining of Mr. Choi, Dentons Lee will be able to provide upgraded response capabilities in litigation related sectors.
