Dentons Lee has established the 'Carbon Free Energy (CFE) Team' in response to the expanding domestic and international carbon emission regulations, climate change technological innovations, and the growing carbon-free energy market, to effectively provide legal services and consulting that help companies adapt to this new environment.

The CFE team plans to actively offer consulting and legal services to support companies in addressing carbon-related trade barriers in the EU and the US, fulfilling RE100 commitments, and fostering new growth drivers in the carbon-free energy sector.

The team will be enhanced by the participation of Chief Managing Attorney Heejun Choi and Consultant Marn-Ki Jeong, a former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, who founded the world’s largest hydrogen exhibition, H2MEET. Leveraging the world’s largest global law firm network, the CFE team aims to provide one-stop services for carbon-free energy projects subject to various national regulations.

The CFE team consists of Consultant Marn-Ki Jeong, Chief Managing Attorney Heejun Choi, Senior Attorney Peter Seung-Hun Lee, Attorney Kwang-Chun Park, Hye-In Jin, Won-Chun Lee, Ho-Jeong Jeong, and US Attorneys Sungsok Yang and Andrew Min-Kyu Lee.
