Dentons Lee's Advisor Marn-ki Jeong, Senior Attorney Ghil-Won Jo and Bernard K. Ham attended the 21st Niche Hour Forum on August 8 at the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association building in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

The forum, titled "Recent Changes in Trade Environment and Trade Policies to Maximize National Interest," drew more than 80 industry leaders from sectors such as automotive, battery, petrochemicals, and engineering, who engaged actively with the discussions.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Jeong emphasized the importance of collaboration between the industry and trade authorities in response to the weakening of the World Trade Organization (WTO) framework and the rise of protectionism. He also highlighted the need for careful attention to avoid trade conflicts, given the increasing market share of Korean imports in the U.S. market. Furthermore, he pointed out that Korea ranked first as a target of U.S. anti-dumping regulations and urged efforts to diversify export markets and strengthen cooperation with the U.S.
