We are pleased to share the latest developments in DL E&C's ongoing legal journey with Dentons Lee.

DL E&C has entrusted Dentons Lee with legal advisory and related litigation services since 2020, specifically in connection with the Osan Sema District 1st Urban Development Project, a pivotal long-term construction project (the “Project”).

In 2018, Osan City issued a district-level plan for the Project and submitted it to the Gyeonggi Province Urban Planning Committee. Unfortunately, the plan faced rejection during the architectural review, leading to a suspension of the Project for a significant period. Responding to this setback, Dentons Lee provided extensive legal services to address the challenges faced by the existing project implementer. Our legal team successfully navigated complex land-related litigation and provided invaluable legal advice, including matters related to donation payment, public contributions, and cultural heritage research.

After intensive consultations with the Promotion Committee, Osan City officially received our proposal for the designation of the urban development zone on October 10, 2023. This milestone paves the way for the resumption of the Project.
