Attorney Yong-Moon Kim of Dentons Lee participated in a discussion on "Problems with the Amendments to Articles 2 and 3 of the Trade Union Act" hosted by the Korea Enterprises Federation at the Korea Press Center on July 11th, 2023 (Tuesday).

Attorney Kim pointed out that the introduction of the proposed amendments to Articles 2 and 3 of the Trade Union Act is not appropriate at this point in time as they lack clarity and thus may actually increase disputes between labor and management, and the trade union laws and court precedents we currently have can sufficiently satisfy the specific validity. Kim also expressed his opinion that a more careful and multifaceted deliberation is needed to resolve the structural duality and polarization issues suffered by the Korean labor market.
