On May 16th, Senior Attorney Yong-Moon Kim of Dentons Lee participated in a forum held at the National Assembly Building under the theme of “100 Days after the Enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act: Achievements and Challenges”.

As a lawyer specializing in employment and labor matters, Attorney Kim pointed out in the forum that the current Serious Accident Punishment Act mainly focuses on holding CEOs criminally liable for the accident, saying “legislative and policy supplements are needed to provide practical help to the prevention of safety accidents.”

Attorney Kim has served his clients on a range of matters involving individual employment relationships and collective labor relations, as well as occupational safety and health matters at work.

He has also utilized his unique experience working as a legal specialist at the UN International Labor Organization to assist clients in disputes related to the Korea-EU Free Trade Agreement.
