Attorney Yong-Moon Kim of Dentons Lee will participate in the “International Human Rights and Labour Standards: Challenges for the Judiciary” Conference to be held for two days from the 13th to the 14th of December.

In the Conference, Mr. Kim will take part in the 4th session on the 14th titled “domestic labor law issues following the ratification of the ILO Framework Convention” and general debate scheduled at the end of the event. 

The Conference is jointly hosted by the United Nations Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner (UN OHCHR), International Labour Organization (ILO) and Judicial Policy Research Institute (JPRI) as a venue where experts in labor laws and human rights laws at home and abroad can discuss with officials of the ILO and the UN OHCHR at a time when the issue of human rights protection has a growing international implications and domestic labor laws are expected to be hugely influenced by the ratification of ILO’s Convention nos. 87 and 98.

The Conference will provide simultaneous interpretation service (KOR/ENG) and will be held at Auditorium of the Judicial Research and Training Institute (1st Fl. of Husaeng-dong) on the 13th and the 14th of December (Tue. – Wed.). The Conference will also be streamed in a YouTube channel of JPRI.
